It's a sweltering day down here in Melbourne. The temperature is supposed to hit 40 degrees Celcius although it isn't quite that hot yet. Since it is too hot to go outside I have been making some earrings.

I have used small resin and felt beads on sterling wires and ear hooks. They are very colorful and light weight.

I am also having a go at making some more organically shaped resin bangles. I made some bangles from clay and have made silicone molds from them. I suspect they will need a lot of sanding. The first one is in the mold curing now but won't be ready to remove until tomorrow.

Oh yes – here is a photograph of my lovely Christmas present – "Bruce the Bull". You will see that my husband went to some trouble to wrap the present so that there was no guessing! He is now very happy in my garden.
